On Wednesday we were invited to the Gala dinner and an opportunity to meet the president of Rotary International D.K Lee. After a great meal and the opportunity to catch up with many Rotarian's we had met in the previous weeks, we were able to have photos taken with D.K and his wife. We all enjoyed this rare opportunity to meet the president.

I have just gotten caught up on your blog. Congratulations for keeping everyone informed of your adventures.
I must admit that after our unbelievable GSE experience in the U.K. I am very envious of the wonderful times you have enjoyed, thanks to so many generous Rotarians. I am a little homesick, for a return to your home country.
Thank you for including a report on my Service Above Self Award at the District Banquet. I was absolutely incredulous.
MaryEllen and I, and possibly some friends from the Myrtle Beach Chicora will be with you in Charleston for your going away party on Friday, April 3. Can't wait to see y'all again.
ENJOY. This experience is nearing the end, regretably.
